Rue des Voûtes

This winding street was built at a time when urban housing was tightly packed.

The houses are built directly on large blocks of rough stone. Carved Maltese crosses, symbols of the Hospitaller Order, can be seen on door lintels.
The monks abandoned the priory on this street and moved it next to the church of Saint Catherine of Alexandria.
